A free, four-hour construction safety awareness course for workers, new starters, supervisors and contractor personnel. Learn to recognise common hazards, apply safe-work principles, report concerns and respond to emergencies through 12 modules, 24 text lessons, practical activities, a 30-question final quiz and a site-safety assignment. Includes W3 course-completion assessment & Certificate

LO01: Explain worker, supervisor and contractor responsibilities and site-induction requirements.
LO02: Identify hazards and select controls using the hierarchy of control and a task briefing.
LO03: Apply safe-access, housekeeping, welfare and PPE principles to a construction site.
LO04: Recognise fall hazards and identify when height work must stop for competent review.
LO05: Recognise excavation and confined-space hazards and explain safe escalation.
LO06: Explain separation, lifting exclusion zones and temporary-works change control.
LO07: Identify unsafe tools and electrical conditions and explain authorised isolation.
LO08: Explain hot-work controls, evacuation and safe emergency communication.
LO09: Recognise dust, chemical, cement and suspected asbestos exposure and suitable controls.
LO10: Identify ways to reduce manual-handling, noise and vibration risks.
LO11: Recognise heat illness and describe prevention, emergency escalation and welfare measures.
LO12: Write a factual incident report and prioritised site-safety action plan.

Recognise unsafe equipment and understand the purpose of controlled isolation.

Fire, hot work and emergencies
Prevent ignition, follow permit controls and respond to an alarm.

Dust, chemicals and hazardous materials
Control inhalation and skin exposure and respond safely to unidentified materials.

Handling, noise and vibration
Reduce physical strain and harmful exposure through task design and early reporting.

Heat, welfare and fitness for work
Recognise heat illness, apply prevention measures and raise wellbeing concerns.

Reporting, learning and site application
Report events, verify corrective actions and apply learning to a fictional site.
